RULA vibration controllers can be connected to any type of shaker including electrodynamic (ED), servo-hydraulic, or servo-electric, new or old. In addition, our controllers can be connected to any force level shaker.
When connecting to ED shakers, the RULA controller will connect to the power amplifier. Whereas on the servo-type shaker the RULA controller will connect to the servo-controller.
RULA controllers also have an extensive analog and digital I/O capability to integrate other shaker or climatic chamber functionality such as air bag level control, test start-pause-stop, coil temperature monitoring, optimize amplifier gain settings, hydraulic power supply start up/shut down and much more.

RULA controllers can be used on any make or model of shaker that utilizes a power amplifier or servo-controller to drive the armature, hydraulic piston, drive screw, head expander or table.
There are many makes and models of shakers being used and manufactured today. Many of these shaker model specs are already built-into our control software so you can quickly set up and assign the proper shaker limits to your testing. Or when needed, you can add or modify the shaker specs anytime.

Hardware: A state-of-the-art 4-channel vibration controller, expandable to 32-channels (8 chassis combined) featuring a scalable and modular design. Built-in IEPE and charge sensor conditioning, no additional hardware needed. It allows for simultaneous control of up to eight (8) shakers with a control frequency range of 0.1Hz to 35kHz, has an LCD screen showing test details and status, and can be used to calibrate transducers, shakers, and microphones.
Software: RULA’s controllers include TestUp vibration control software which provides users with an easy-to-use interface, intuitive workflow, and can perform up to twenty-two (22) different test modes. It also includes a number of pre-start safety checks to prevent costly shaker damage. TestUp can also be combined with multiple vibration controllers and provide MIMO control for up to eight (8) shakers. Lifetime software upgrades included, no annual maintenance fees!

Hardware: A state-of-the-art 8-channel vibration controller, expandable to 64-channels (8 chassis combined) featuring a scalable and modular design. Built-in IEPE and charge sensor conditioning, no additional hardware needed. Includes direct connection of PT-100 and thermocouples. It allows for simultaneous control of up to sixteen (16) shakers with a control frequency range of DC to 80kHz, has an LCD screen, and can be used to calibrate transducers, shakers, and microphones.

Built-in IEPE, strain-gauge bridge and charge sensor conditioning, no additional hardware needed. Also includes an auxiliary power connection for powering 12 or 24VDC (50mA) sensors and external devices. The RL-C25 allows for simultaneous control of up to eight (8) shakers with a control frequency range of DC to 106kHz and can be used to calibrate transducers, shakers, and microphones.
