Model AC-4
The Accele-Cooler Model AC-4 is a precision water cooling system designed to protect and extend the operating life of sensors in extreme thermal environments. Originally developed for DJB Instruments’ water-cooled accelerometer models A/33 and A/133, the AC-4 is equally well-suited for other water-cooled sensors including pressure transducers, acoustic emission sensors, load cells, and torque sensors used in high-temperature test and measurement applications.
Whether you’re monitoring vibration on a turbine, measuring pressure in a hot process line, or capturing acoustic data near a combustion system, the Accele-Cooler keeps your sensors operating within their rated temperature range — reliably and continuously.

Compatible Sensor Types
The AC-4 is compatible with any water-cooled sensor requiring controlled, low-flow cooling:
- Accelerometers — including DJB A/33 and A/133 high-temperature models
- Pressure transducers — dynamic pressure sensors in steam lines, exhaust, or turbine applications
- Acoustic emission sensors — near furnaces, combustion chambers, or engine test cells
- Load cells & torque sensors — on hot dynamometer or engine test stands
